Privacy Policy

Account data

When you register or sign in, we store:

• email address;
• password hash if you register with email — passwords are not stored in plain text;
• Google account identifier and Google-verified email if you sign in with Google;
• active plan (Free, Pro, Team, or Business) and expiry date.

PDF files

Files you upload are used only to process the feature you requested (including business docs and email drafts with PDF attachments). Files are stored temporarily, then deleted after download completes or after a short window. PDF contents are not stored in the database, not written to logs, and not sent to third-party ad networks or used for AI model training.

Service usage

We record successful action counts (for example compress and merge) per day so plan limits can be enforced. Quota dates use the Asia/Jakarta timezone.

Payments

Payments are by manual bank transfer. We store order ID, product, amount, status, and confirmation metadata for audit. Notification emails are sent to admins for activation approval. Destination bank credentials come only from server configuration, not the browser.

Teams

For Team and Business plans, we store organization name, membership, roles, and invite emails. Invite and password-reset emails are sent through an email provider.

Cookies

We use a session cookie so you stay signed in for about 14 days. Filekit session cookies are not used to track you across other sites.

Ads / promos

Guests and Free users may see first-party Filekit promo banners (upgrade prompts) on the home and tool pages when promo settings are on. Pro, Team, and Business plans do not see those promos. We do not load third-party ad networks (including Google AdSense).

Parties that receive data

• Google, if you sign in with Google OAuth;
• the email provider, for password reset, team invites, payment confirmation, and renewal reminders.

We do not sell account data or file contents.

Technical logs

Servers may log request metadata such as action, file size, status, and duration. Logs do not contain PDF contents, passwords, or payment secrets. Web servers may also log IP addresses as part of standard access logs.

Your rights

You can view payment history on the Account page. For account deletion or other requests, email from your account address to admin@filekit.id. Payment records may be retained for audit.

Changes

If this policy changes, the date above will be updated. The latest version is always on this page.
